Responsibilities:

  • The Operations Manager will lead all property development functions for commercial real estate properties
  • The Manager will handle all aspects of the due diligence, entitlement, design and construction of various commercial developments (both speculative and build-to-suit)
  • Running meetings and creating reports
  • Coordinating staff time management, prioritization, and multitasking abilities
  • Oversee and coordinate the governmental permitting and public hearing process necessary to begin construction and open the proposed development
  • Execute and direct the tasks for various departments within the company
  • Represent Victory at various meetings and events
  • Lead morning meetings and assist CFO in managing work flow between accounting, property management and development
  • Create and maintain a Sharepoint filing system to centralize document management
  • Initiate and maintain a CRM solution for workflow efficiency
  • Develop and prepare project budgets and cost estimates
  • Develop schedules and maintains targeted completion dates
  • Understands how to manage milestones and bring appropriate resources to challenges impacting the schedule
  • Ensure that coordination and regular communication of overall project occurs between design professionals, real estate and others involved in the planning of company projects
  • Advises management of any project delays or budget challenges and identifies alternate actions to maintain schedules and budgets

Job description – Commercial Real Estate Operations Manager

The Operations Manager will lead all property development functions for commercial real estate properties. The position requires a high degree of independence, energy, enthusiasm, technical competence and professionalism. The Manager will handle all aspects of the due diligence, entitlement, design and construction of various commercial developments (both speculative and build-to-suit).

  • Communication - Must be a leader with experience and knowledge of obtaining development entitlements, building and signage permits, and clearly communicate the status to the development team.

  • Change - Ability to be flexible and have the ability to plan and manage around priority shifts in the development process and pipeline of projects.

  • Capacity - Must be able to manage multiple projects in various development stages, clearly solve development issues, and bring a project to full completion.
